Alright.
00:02
So what if you could see the effect that the tools you use every single day, what impact they were having on your brain?
00:11
That is what inspired this little tool where I try to see what an app might look like if we got it to essentially map out the brain and then show how certain tools are impacting the different parts of our brains.
00:30
So you can see here prefrontal cortex.
00:32
If I click on that, this is typically where decision making, planning, and work working memory comes.
00:40
Active tools.
00:41
You can see Jira, Asana, Notion.
00:43
So these tools are known to essentially put stress, or influence these parts of the brain.
00:51
And so this is where we can start to see the cognitive load.
00:54
And if we can actually see the correlation, starting first with very simple mapping, like, if you are using these tools and can get data around how much you're using these tools, then we can essentially guesstimate the effects they're having on the different parts of our brain.
01:15
And then we can optimize recommendations for reducing context switching or focusing time optimization.
01:23
Alright?
01:23
So if we go back here, you can then see the different parts.
01:27
Alright?
01:29
So here, you can see the motor cortex.
01:33
We've got the parietal lobe, temporal lobe, and then the occipital lobe.
01:41
And for each of these, we can go into all.
01:44
K?
01:45
GitHub development tools, task execution coordination.
01:49
All of this is to serve something that I've been that I'm working on in the background related to our cognitive stack in general.
02:00
Because my belief is that we are going to experience increasingly more and more stress on our minds, maybe even our souls, with AI and the influx of tools that can easily be generated.
02:19
So we're going to have to start pushing ourselves to create tools to defend against the tools that are actually coming at us.
02:27
And it's a really interesting time and space to be alive because I never thought that this would be a thing, but it is becoming a thing.
02:35
And I think we really need more ways to bring visibility to the things that are impacting us every single day.
